Do it yourself lightbox

October 18th, 2006 | by jnousis |

If you shoot macro photos or photos of small items the best way to do it is by using a lightbox. A lightbox is an empty white box where you put the object you want to photograph in order to avoid having any shadows or unwanted objects. You can focus on the object, shoot it with flash or not (if you have good lighting) and isolate it easily in Photoshop. Moreover the light control is perfect, depending only on the light bulbs you are using.

The lightbox photography is essential to product shootings of any kind and it can offer professional results for any ecommerce website.

This great guide shows you how to build your own lightbox: http://www.jyoseph.com/extras/archives/2006/02/diy_lightbox.php
